Immigration Information Seminar Part 1

Back on Saturday, April 24, 2010, The Bronx AmeriCaribbean Chamber of Commerce (“BACCC”) teamed up with the High School of Computer and Technology, Pimento Restaurant, Ms. Andrea Quarantillo, District Director U.S. Department of Homeland Security, US Customs and Border Protection, NYC Commission on Human Rights, Sepher Tehillium (Faith-base Leader), Attorney at Law Mr. Merrick Dammar, Esq, and a number of community business owners, and the community at the High School of Technology at Evander Child Campus to address the many immigration issues facing the growing community of high school students and families. Ms. Avril Francis, of the “Avril Francis show” emceed the event and ensured all questions were addressed. The turnout was overwhelming, due to the growing panic of the children’s future and the new Arizona immigration law.
